The Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Aotea Security and Gallagher have signed a three-way Insider Program site partnership to ensure that AUT stays at the forefront of the latest technology, features and optimisation from the Gallagher engineering team.
At AUT, it’s important to be at the cutting edge of innovation and technology. This three-way partnership will enable AUT the opportunity to deploy new security features and rigorously test functional updates across their site before general availability, directly supported by the Aotea Security team and Gallagher Technical Representatives and Engineers.
The programme allows AUT to push forward with digitisation and streamlining of the student journey with security and smart credentials and identification.
More than 29,000 students from 137 countries study at AUT across the three campuses in Auckland’s central business district, on the North Shore and in Manukau, making them the second largest university in New Zealand. In the 20 years since AUT was established as a university, they have undergone remarkable change and development, making AUT leaders in their fields.
William Taylor, Director of Security, and Emergency Management at AUT has been working closely with our National Client Services Manager Mike McKim to drive forward the AUT Insider Programme through engagement with stakeholders and departments across AUT. This has not been a spur-of-the-moment addition but 12 months of planning and alignment to the AUT security and technology strategy.
