NZSA Film Shoot & Awards Finalists Announced

Aotea Security enjoys all the benefits of being involved in the strong New Zealand Security Industry, and for that we have no problem in giving back and supporting it. We also support the recognition of excellence from individuals in the Industry.

Some of our Auckland team braved the rain recently to get out and film on location technician tasks and the processes around the set-up of typical work areas. The production team "Just the Job Productions" were great to work with. Thanks James, Jamie, Paul and Edward. Also a big thanks to the MPI security team for letting us use their location at Auckland Airport.

The NZ Security Association (NZSA) is in the process of formalising a contract with Ministry for Social Development (MSD) to act as their National Work Broker for the Security Industry. As part of this Aotea Security & NZSA have been jointly developing two short videos that demonstrate the facets and requirements for roles in the guarding and electronic sectors respectively. The videos will run on the MSD Job Board screens at the MSD branches and with a modified version for the NZSA website / social media platforms and for use by NZSA members.

Thanks to the Aotea Team for turning up and giving back to the industry. Great work NZSA and MSD for driving recruitment in to much needed areas of the Security Industry.

Also announced late last week were two Aotea Security finalists for the The NZSA Security Industry Awards Dinner which will be held on Friday 14th September 2018 at Rydges, hosted in Queenstown.

Visionary Leadership Award: Alistair Hogg (CEO)

Design and Support Electronic Sector: Daniel Tustin (Enterprise Support Leader)

Both guys excel in their respective fields and in our minds are great candidates for these awards. Congratulations to all the other finalists in their categories.
