Paul Hurrell
General Manager, Strategy & Operational Risk
Paul Hurrell is a security and operational risk management specialist who has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience through his thirty plus years with the Police, corporate entities and his own consultancy; working across Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Islands. Paul assists Aotea Security clients by examining and understanding the risks that businesses face in an ever-complex and compliant business environment.
As a trusted advisor, Paul works within our senior management team to provide additional depth to our governance and strategy.

Ian McKenzie
Regional Customer Development Manager, Bay of Plenty
Originally from Leicester, U.K., Ian has lived in New Zealand since 2001. Having over fourteen years’ experience in the security industry in New Zealand, Ian has had success in a variety of roles including: Account Management, Technical Support and Business Development. This experience has given him a great wealth of knowledge about the customer experience. He joins our Bay of Plenty branch as the Regional Customer Development Manager, specialising in CCTV and Technical Services.
After a long and successful career within the security industry, having worked for some of New Zealand’s foremost technology suppliers, Ian brings a deep understanding of the criticality of relationships throughout the entire supply chain and into the end user environment. Ian’s key focus is on people – our people and our clients. Ensuring that our services always exceed expectations and acting as the primary relationship manager at Aotea Security.
