Getting Behind Grass Roots Rugby From The Ground Up In Auckland And Timaru

Aotea Security proudly support local rugby teams in the North and South islands, bringing the community together, developing young talent and contributing to the wellbeing of our regions. In the North we support the Waitemata Junior Buffalos, coached by our Provincial Manager Mike McKim, who also plays for the Presidents Buffalo’s squad. In the South, we support the Celtic Rugby Juniors Team, coached by our Timaru Branch Manager, Kade Tarrant.

Supporting your team goes beyond the workplace and merely cheering from the sidelines for Mike McKim and Kade Tarrant, who (out of lockdown) love nothing more than being out on the field, coaching our excited future Rugby stars.

Our local rugby clubs are great community organisations for creating positive sporting experiences for Kiwi kids and their whānau, in a culture that promotes commitment, fairness, enjoyment, integrity, respect and success. Aotea Security proudly co-sponsored the team hoodies along with the Presidents Buffalo’s squad, which were very well received by the keen young players, with one parent reporting that their son wanted to wear it to bed!

Buffalo's Presidents Team

The President Buffalo’s have been playing since 1998 in the Auckland Union, and the u9's have been playing together for 4 years now since they were u6 rippers, now playing some of the toughest tackle rugby in their grade for the Auckland Union.

Aotea Security are committed to nurturing the development of our junior Rugby players and supporting community teams across the region. Plus, it puts a big smile on our dials to see all of their eager, happy faces, especially while we're in lockdown.
