In 2018, Errol Head decided he wanted to bring something new to Dunedin's Christmas light scene. Coming up with an intricate light display that flashes and changes colour in time with music playing through a speaker out the front.
Errol Head is a Senior Security Technician that works out of our Dunedin branch - with a special love for Christmas. His house is decked out with 3000 lights, including 1600 on an impressive rooftop Christmas tree.
It's been a rough year this year and we all need a bit of cheering up. Errol's fantastic lights display is helping to spread the Christmas cheer along with some other fantastic light displays.
Errol's innovative display has become a firm favourite among the Dunedin public with cars often lined up outside the front of his home on 10 Forbury Rd, in South Dunedin.
‘‘It’s been quite busy most nights, it’s been really good,’’ Mr Head said.
