Bronwyn Sellar brings a fresh perspective to her role as Auckland Branch Manager at Aotea Security, drawing on her background in finance and a genuine passion for the security industry she discovered after moving to New Zealand.
Starting her security career as a service coordinator with Aotea Security in 2022, Bronwyn quickly found her place in the industry. What drew her in was the people, the variety of work and the knowledge that every project makes a real difference in creating safer spaces for clients and their people. Every day brings something different, and that variety keeps the work fulfilling.
Now stepping into the branch manager role, Bronwyn approaches each new challenge with enthusiasm, guided by core values of honesty, responsibility and encouraging everyone to take pride in the good work they do. Her background in customer service has shaped how she communicates and connects with people, skills she considers essential in building a strong, cohesive team.
Bronwyn speaks to leadership being more than just managing projects. It's about creating an environment where the team works together like a well-oiled machine, where people feel supported to grow and reach their personal goals and where everyone genuinely enjoys what they do.
Outside the office, Bronwyn treasures her time as a mum to two kids and finds balance through horse riding, where she can enjoy quiet moments in nature. She also loves travelling and staying connected with family in South Africa.
As she settles into her new role, Bronwyn looks forward to guiding the Auckland branch with the same collaborative energy and dedication that has shaped her journey with Aotea Security.
